On of the best restaurant in Portsmouth. Food takes a bit time to come but it worth it. They got real class chef I guess, naan bread served fresh. Stuff are very friendly and caring. Wouldn't mind to go there again and again.

My eldest daughter decided as it was Father's Day to treat me to an Indian meal at the Spice Village. Feeling extremely pleased to be invited, we entered the restaurant to be met with most tables full in the former public house now transformed to a contemporary restaurant - obviously the restaurant's appeal has reached far and wide. Fortunately my daughter had booked a table but she did mention the fact that on her two previous visits the service had been generally slow. Well, the management have obviously taken note of criticism, especially on TripAdvisor because our service was excellent from start to finish! Drinks we ordered were served efficiently and poppadums soon after. I honestly couldn't fault the service, the food was very tasty and will most definitely return!!
